The National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) has issued an injunction against the forced transfer of several National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) employees from Lahore and Multan to Swat.
NIRC Chairman Arshad Aziz Khan issued the order on an application submitted by Khuram Muhammad Qureshi advocate. Several NADRA employees working in Lahore and Multan were forcibly transferred to Swat for protesting against the management a few days ago.
NADRA Employees Union of Pakistan President Asif Basheer, Vice President Ghulam Murtaza, General Secretary Samiul Hassan and Press Secretary Qaisar Mushtaq said in a joint statement that any excesses committed by the management against NADRA employees would be challenged.
