It is the fundamental right of a child to get a registration certificate from the place of origin. NADRA has been able to automate and in turn facilitate the process of acquiring Child Registration Certificates (CRC).
Eligibility for CRC:
NADRA has initiated the provision of a Child Registration Certificate (CRC) to every Pakistani child, aged 18 years or less. The certificate contains essential information about the child, including the minor’s name and registration number, date of birth, place of birth, gender, and parents’ names and CNIC numbers. The Child is allotted same 13 digits registration number which will be his/her future CNIC # when he/she applies for CNIC upon attaining 18 years of age. It is the responsibility of every child’s parents/guardians to get registered their children under 18 years of age.
Fee Structure
The processing fee for the CRC is Rs.50 for the normal category and Rs.500 for the executive category. There is no urgent processing of the CRC.
Delivery
When CRC will be processed it will only be sent to the NSRC from where it was applied and applicant will get the print out of the CRC from there
