FAKE ID CARDS BY NADRA TEAM

Three female and one male officers of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) have been arrested red-handed by Rawalpindi Police recently for fraud.

A raiding party led by SHO Raja Shakeel of Civil Lines Police Station caught the accused in action near Chaklala Scheme III and recovered 1,500 allegedly forged CINC cards from them.

Civil Lines police released them after registering a case and recording their statements. Rawalpindi police said the four were arrested on the complaint of Niaz Ahmed Kiani of Gulraiz Colony that they were issuing forged Computerised National Identity Cards (CNIC) from a van of Nadra’s mobile facility.

To pressurize the police officer and teach lesson to anyone who try to expose NADRA culprits in future, National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has filed application against the SHO of Civil Lines Police Station, Rawalpindi for illegal detention of NADRA mobile van with female staff performing national duty of registration.
