NADRA Upgrading Systems to Launch Cheaper Money Transfer Facility for Public

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has been completed work on money transfer scheme to facilitate people from the low income group.Former Chairman, NADRA, Brig (R) Salim Moin in an interview reveals that, “The proposed cheaper money transfer system will help the people working in different cities of the country to transfer money to their families”. He said for this purpose NADRA was in the process of enabling its koisk machines, the line of the highly successful e-payment platform namely ‘e-Sahulat’ and also to integrate all government to public and public to government payments via secure and convenient electronic systems. The Former Chief, who made a brief stop-over in London on his way home from an official trip to France, expressed hope that the project would be launched up to first or second month of new year 2012, as the necessary permission has been obtained from the State Bank of Pakistan.
